Alpinestars SM-3 Heat Helmet

Alpinestars SM-3 Heat Helmet is built to raise the bar for off-road riders seeking cutting-edge safety, performance, and style in a single package. Its advanced thermo-injected outer shell uses a special polymer blend with varied thicknesses to optimize impact protection while keeping weight low, and a multi-density EPS liner (with multiple EPS pieces and densities) tunes energy absorption across different impact zones. Alpinestars’ Rotational Acceleration Force Protection technology applies a low-friction coating to the inner EPS, acting as a slip plane to reduce rotational forces from oblique impacts, and the shell/liner system is engineered to minimize the effects of angled hits.

Ventilation is maximized through multiple intake and exhaust ports to promote strong airflow and heat transfer during intense motos and technical trail sections. Inside, an eco-friendly comfort liner made from recycled materials, along with removable, washable cheek pads and crown, provides a soft, secure fit, and integrated hydration tube channels in the cheek pads support endurance and off-road use. A patented safety visor release system is designed to detach the visor with a controlled amount of force to reduce stress on the rider’s neck in a crash, while an emergency release system for the cheek pads helps first responders remove the helmet more safely. DOT and ECE 22.06 certifications complete a helmet that balances modern protection, comfort, and confidence-inspiring performance.
