Camso makes three main track systems for ATVs and side-by-sides. They all turn your rig into a year-round machine for snow, mud and swamp, but they're built for different vehicle sizes and workloads. Here's how they compare and how to pick the right one.

Camso UTV 4S1

Full-size UTV workhorse

Made for side-by-sides in tough conditions: ice fishing, swamp hunting, muddy ranch work and deep snow. About 25% more ground coverage than the X4S.

Good to know

Check exact fitment

Mount kits are vehicle-specific. Confirm your year, make and model before ordering, not just the engine size.

Expect lower top speed

On the T4S and X4S, Camso sizes the sprockets so you keep about 2/3 of your vehicle's original speed. Tracks trade speed for pulling power and float.

More clearance

Tracks lift the vehicle about 3" (T4S, X4S) to 5" (4S1) compared to stock tires, which helps in deep snow and ruts.

Plan for the weight

Systems range from about 155 lb (T4S) to about 223 lb (4S1) before the mount kit. Make sure your trailer and lift setup can handle it.

Check your trailer length

Tracks make the machine longer than it is on tires. If you haul it on a trailer, measure first and make sure there's enough extra room for it to still fit.

FAQ

What's the difference between the T4S and the X4S?

They use the same track size and give the same ground coverage. The X4S adds double-bearing oil-bath hubs, bolt-on wheels, inward-curved front tracks for easier steering, and it also fits mid-size UTVs. The T4S is ATV-only and costs less.

Can I put the X4S on my UTV?

Yes, if it's a mid-size UTV in the 400–700cc range, such as a Honda Pioneer, Polaris Ranger or Yamaha Viking. For full-size UTVs up to 1000cc, the UTV 4S1 is the better match.

Are these only for snow?

No. All three are all-season systems built for snow, mud, swamp and rough ground, for both work and recreation.

What warranty comes with Camso track systems?

Each system has a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
